Commend An Officer
Dallas Police Department (DPD) Officers are committed to serving and protecting our
community with dedication and professionalism. While the department receives thousands of
commendations each year, many acts of excellence go unrecognized. If a DPD officer has done
a great job, we want to hear from you. Please share your experience with us—your
commendations help us acknowledge and celebrate the hard work of our officers.

- Please include all the information you can remember such as the employee's name,the date, time, and circumstances of the incident.
- Call the Internal Affairs Division at (214) 671-3986.
- Visit any Dallas Police facility and ask to speak to a supervisor.
