Victim Services

The Dallas Police Department Victim Services Unit was established in April 1996. The professional staff of the Dallas Police Department Victim Services Unit provides assistance to victims who may have suffered physical injuries or trauma as a result of a violent crime. Our advocates work with victims of sexual assault, robbery, assault, traffic crimes and families of homicide victims. Our goal is to help empower victims to re-establish their lives and lessen the negative impact of the emotional, physical, psychological or financial trauma that many may experience.

The Victim Services Unit is located in the Jack Evans Police Headquarters of the Dallas Police Department - Crimes Against Persons Division, 1400 Botham Jean Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75215.
