Kids and Cops Trading Card Program
Kids and Cops Trading Card Program
The "Kids and Cops" trading card program is a youth outreach program that seeks to create positive interaction between law enforcement and children.
The program is currently in its 11th Edition. The trading cards feature photographs of Police Officers, Sheriff Deputies, FBI Agents, Texas Rangers and Crime Prevention Specialists.
Each card includes biographical information and words of advice to children. Officers attend neighborhood functions, hospitals, schools, and various other events that provide opportunities for children to visit with the officers and request autographs. Children throughout the community collect the trading cars. The "Kids and Cops" program exposes children to many positive adult role models.
