The Child Abuse Squad is located at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center. The squad is responsible for investigating all sexual assault, physical abuse, and neglect injury offenses when the victim is a juvenile and the suspect is:
1. A parent,
2. A guardian, including a temporary one such as a babysitter or day-care worker,
3. A relative, or
4. Any person living in the home with the child.
State Law Mandates Reporting Child Abuse.
