The goal of the Deployment Team is to positively impact crime using covert surveillance, fugitive apprehension and intelligence gathering. Officers have specific geographic responsibilities. The team consistently reviews offense and arrest reports for suspect information. Suspect information is passed to detectives, and utilized for the apprehension of criminal suspects. Covert Officers utilize various software packages and internet programs to accomplish this goal. Intelligence is a key component of the Deployment Team's operation.
